Do you live in Glasgow?

Do you have a story to tell…a tale of poverty or triumph despite poverty?

Is quilting something that interests you, or that you’ve always wanted to try?

Then please join The Poverty Truth Commission in association with Platform, Easterhouse and use the traditional method of quilting to record those daily struggles and achievements that bond us together.

If you can commit to five, 2 hour sessions on Mondays from 1-3pm, beginning on 26th February, we would love to hear from you!

We are looking for 6-8 people to take part in the free sessions, which will take place at Platform in Easterhouse.

– No previous quilting experience needed, just a keen interest or some basic sewing skills (even if you think you’re rusty!).
– Refreshments and equipment provided. Travel expenses covered.
