St. Andrew’s Family Support Project works with young parents in Dundee. These families are unable to integrate into other community playgroups for a variety of reasons including domestic abuse, mental health issues and financial and housing problems. The project seeks to help these vulnerable and isolated families, offering a holistic facility where young people and children can meet others and receive wide-ranging support.

“The FiSCAF grant has enabled us to develop an ante-natal group to prepare teenage mums for the respnsibilities of having a baby.”

St. Andrew’s Family Support Project received a grant of £10,000 over two years towards staff and volunteer costs to set up and develop a weekly antenatal class for teenage mums.
