1. Applications we will consider
We want to be a flexible funder which responds to local need so that people and communities grow and change for the better. A good application is one that is simple and to the point, we want you to tell us about
What aspect of poverty and inequality you are tackling
What are the real issues your community faces? How are you going to support people to address these issues and how do you know that is the most appropriate way of doing so for your community? How will you know you’ve made a difference?
Why your faith inspires you to take this action
Demonstrate that the proposed work and its ethos is rooted in faith
How you will encourage the widest possible participation
Show that you understand the demographics of your area and how you will be taking steps to ensure you’re reaching beyond your usual audience. How will you know if you are successful and how will you analyse your own working patterns to ensure you’re making things as open as possible?
2. Applications we will not consider
We cannot consider applications:
for the promotion of a particular faith
for building/refurbishment projects
for major projects for ongoing running costs of established organisations and projects
